StrikeLink StrikeLink is the first and only Combined Arms Targeting System. StrikeLink, the Target Location, Designation and Hand-Off System (TLDHS) software, has the ability to quickly acquire targets in day, night and near all-weather visibility conditions. StrikeLink can determine operator location as well as that of their targets, then digitally transmit secure data to multiple supporting arms elements. StrikeLink supports the CAS mission with AV-8s, F-16s, and F/A-18s, as well as artillery missions with AFATDS and NFCS naval gun fire missions.

THS(X) The Target Handoff System Experimental is a United States Marine Corps (USMC) program, which will field the premier forward deployed system for performing Joint Service Close Air Support (CAS), Artillery, and Naval Gun Fire (NGF) missions. THS(X) is a hybrid of ACASS, UCATS, the existing THS, and Command and Control Personal Computer (C2PC). The challenge and non-negotiable requirement: Maintain the intuitive user interface through user centric methodology demonstrated in the ACASS and UCATS developments. Initial fielding in Spring 2004 was titled THS Block 2.

ACASS The Advanced Close Air Support System provides Forward Air Controllers (FACs) and Tactical Air Control Parties (TACPs) with the capability to direct Close Air Support (CAS) missions using state-of-the-art tools including a broad list of Laser Range Finders and digital communications using standard tactical radios. Originally developed through an Internal Research and Development (IRAD) contract through The Boeing Company, this system has grown to include many advanced digital CAS features including digital mapping/imagery, enhanced situational awareness, anti-fratricide tools and aircraft tracking. The ACASS has received exceptional marks for its completeness, accuracy and usability.

UCATS The Universal Combined Arms Targeting System is used by Forward Observers (FOs) to digitally direct and control Artillery missions. Primarily interfacing with the Advanced Field Artillery Tactical Data System (AFATDS) to receive digital Fire Support Coordination Measures and send digital Calls For Fire, the UCATS provides a map and image based situational awareness display for quickly planning and coordinating artillery missions. Interfaces to UCATS include Global Positioning System (GPS) for self-location, Laser Range Finders for highly accurate target location and standard tactical radios.
